Are these templates actually built for professional use, or just basic examples?
Every template in FormulaBase is built by finance professionals — not generated or assembled from generic content. The models include proper formula logic, error-checking, and the kind of structure you would actually hand to a client or use in an investor meeting.
What file format do the templates come in?
All templates are delivered as native Excel (.xlsx) files. They work in Microsoft Excel and are compatible with recent versions of Excel for Windows and Mac. No macros that require specific security settings — just clean workbook logic.
Can I use these templates for client work?
Yes. Your subscription covers use across your professional work, including engagements with clients. You can adapt and customize any template for a specific client's situation.
What happens when a template is updated?
When a model in the library is revised — for a methodology update, a formula correction, or a structural improvement — you will see a version badge in your saved library. You can download the updated version at any time. Your previously downloaded files are not automatically replaced.
Is this a one-time purchase or a subscription?
FormulaBase is a subscription that gives you access to the full library for as long as your plan is active. This means you always have access to the latest versions and any new templates added to the library.
I already have some Excel templates I use regularly. Why would I switch?
You do not have to replace what is working.
